The Dianne Baboth Memorial Origins
Upon Dianne's passing her eldest son Rob and daughter-in-law Mary Beth did not want her legacy to be defined by the dash between her birth and death dates. To continue Dianne's legacy the idea for the Dianne Baboth Memorial Golf Tournament was born. The first tournament was held on August 22nd, 2009 at Knollwood Golf Club in Ancaster. Dianne's eternal love for children inspired the annual continuity of this event, in which all proceeds are donated to McMaster Children's Hospital in Hamilton.

The pediatric oncology clinic at McMaster's Children's Hospital redevelopment and expansion is now completed! As a result of generous donors including the Dianne Baboth Memorial, a new space was created to bring comfort, care, and compassion during a cancer diagnosis.
The new space allows for age appropriate activity zones, more comfortable treatment areas, and greater privacy during important conversations. |
